A natural extension
From pattern design to item production, each piece is lovingly hand knit by Lora. What started out as nothing more than a computer, some yarn, and hooks several years ago has now become an extension of her passion for children.
Lora learned to crochet as a little girl and began gifting or selling her items to family and friends. After expanding and gaining more experience in the craft, she taught herself how to knit. From photography props to women's clothing, her pieces have been in consignment shops, boutiques, and art shows throughout NYC and LI and have shipped across the United States and abroad.
Her current focus is sustainable fashion for the little people who've stolen her heart. Caring for children is something that has always come naturally to her and that, combined with her interest in natural fibers, has resulted in her current product line of sustainable knitwear that will be cherished by parents and children alike for years to come.
When she is not knitting or tending to the children in her care, Lora is usually in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, working to complete her Montessori teaching credentials, or reading a book (there's nothing like a good suspense).
