WHAT DO THESE PIECES DO?
The kits sold here enable you to convert IKEA MAXIMERA kitchen drawers into the handle-less push-to-open / soft close drawers that are typically found on high end modern designs. In total, it takes no longer than 10 minutes per drawer to add the necessary hardware to accomplish this.

* The system works with all modern IKEA kitchen installations from across all regions (SEKTION in North America and METOD in Europe).

* It is compatible with all configurations of external drawers of all heights (low, medium, high), even and with those configurations fitted with IKEA's internal drawer-in-drawer system. It cannot be fitted to the internal drawers themselves, but this is unnecessary for these types of drawers since they are designed by IKEA to be operated without handles anyhow.

The solution is comprised of two parts:

1. Blum(r) TipOn BluMotion drawer mechanisms which are ordered through your local distributor (I suggest various online sources for your local country)

2. The Drilling Template Kits and assorted brackets and triggers available on this ETSY site that enable the Blum components to work with the IKEA system.

I had some slight difficulty with getting the drawers to sit correctly but after some trial and error they now work perfectly. Mike also offered to help diagnose the issues which I appreciate.

The template arrived damaged unfortunately, but Mike was very generous and offered me a replacement. He also offered help via messaging to diagnose some of the issues I was having with the assembly.

First of all I had asked this shop owner if he could expedite my order since we were in the middle of a kitchen installation and he was able to accommodate me. In addition, the jig setup worked like a charm. It saved hours of time if not more. If anyone needs to drill perfect holes for Sektion drawer fronts this is the tool for you.
