Suivant les traces de mes deux grands-mères, je tricote et crochete depuis que je suis toute petite, apportant des formes d’art antiques dans les temps modernes.
Avant l’époque de YouTube, j’ai appris à tricoter et à crocheter de mes grands-mères et de grands livres d’instructions à couverture rigide brillants - je peux encore sentir le poids de ces volumes épiques dans mes mains de 10 ans. Mon préféré de ces livres venait du Royaume-Uni, c’était donc ma première introduction à la différence entre la terminologie du crochet britannique et américain...
En tant qu’adulte, regarder les autres se délecter de mon travail artisanal s’est avéré être l’une de mes plus grandes joies. Chaque fois que quelqu’un rayonne quand il met une de mes créations, je suis reconnaissant de lui avoir apporté de la joie.

Following in the footsteps of both of my grandmothers, I've been knitting and crocheting since I was a little kid, bringing antique art forms into modern times.
Back before the days of YouTube, I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmothers, and from big glossy hardcover instructional books - I can still feel the weight of those epic volumes in my 10-year-old hands. My favourite of these books was from the UK, so this was my first introduction to the difference between British vs. American crochet terminology...
As an adult, watching other people delight in my handcrafted work has turned out to be one of my greatest joys. Each time someone beams when they put on one of my creations, I am grateful to have brought them joy.
