I've been a carpenter and hobbyist woodworker for years, and after I bought my own CNC machine, I knew I wanted to make something unique with it. Then my wife and I attended a mahjong dinner and learned how to play the game - and it clicked! I could make these tiles myself, and in a fresh, unique way. That same week, I got to work designing my own set.

Every tile is CNC-engraved, hand-sanded, and individually finished by me in my workshop in Texas. I focus on making tiles that not only look beautiful, but also feel good in your hands and hold up to actual gameplay. I spend a lot of time testing woods, finishes, engraving depths, tools, and sanding methods to get the right balance of durability, smoothness, and detail.

These are not a mass-produced product. Every set has been meticulously crafted and checked for inconsistencies before delivery.

I started this with the goal of making beautiful, hardwood sets that are as much a work of art as they are a regular part of your game nights, and I hope I achieved that goal!
