Welcome to Threadscope — a small, family-run Australian clothing brand based in Brisbane, Queensland, celebrating the birds, wildlife and character that make Australia such a special place.
Our designs are inspired by the Australia we know and love: kookaburras laughing in the morning, colourful cockatoos and fairy wrens, wedge-tailed eagles overhead, kangaroos, native wildlife, wildflowers, bushlife and the unmistakable humour of everyday Australian life.
Australian birds have become a particularly important part of Threadscope. We love creating designs around individual species rather than simply making generic “bird shirts”, because we know bird lovers and birdwatchers often have that one bird they have a special connection with. Our growing Australian bird collection celebrates everything from familiar backyard visitors to some of our most iconic native species.
Can't find your favourite bird? We also welcome requests for custom bird designs and are always interested to hear which species our customers would love to see next.
Alongside our bird and wildlife range, we create distinctly Australian Christmas shirts and gifts. Think native birds, kangaroos and Australian humour rather than snow-covered forests and a northern-hemisphere winter — because Christmas looks a little different down here.
