The idea for Tiny but Powerful was inspired by our own tiny, but powerful daughter. Our petite child has a powerful spirit. She bravely conquers fears, cries at sad movies, runs as fast as she can whenever she can, loves shopping for shoes, and wears a fancy dress to search for snakes with her brother.
We want to nurture that amazing spirit and dispel for her and other young girls those stubborn societal notions about a girl's value and potential. We want girls to know that they can be smart and beautiful, brave and emotional, athletic and feminine. They don't have to choose.
So it struck us … Why not start a tiny company with powerful goals — to encourage girls to be whomever they chose, and celebrate their strength and power. And that is what we did.
