After getting married in 2023 and having a traditional Tamil Hindu wedding ceremony, I quickly realized how few modern, culturally relevant resources existed for South Asian brides navigating the planning process.

Through thebasicbrownbride, I’ve discovered a growing need for affordable and customizable wedding products, especially wedding stationery that reflects our traditions in a modern, accessible way.
