US orders: DHL collects the import tariff before delivery — you'll receive a text or call with payment instructions. This is a government charge, not extra shipping; your shipping is already fully paid. Parcels refused or returned to us over unpaid customs fees can't be refunded.

Every fabric is washed twice during production, so your piece won't change after home washing. Wash by hand or on a cold, gentle machine cycle — and skip hot water, it can shrink natural fibers.

Color & Natural Variation

Each garment is dyed by hand with fiber-reactive or natural plant dyes. Shades vary a little from batch to batch and season to season — that's the nature of hand dyeing on organic fabric, and it's what makes your piece one of a kind. Colors can also look slightly different from screen to screen. Have a color wish? Tell us — we do our best to match it.

We accept returns and exchanges. Contact us via Etsy convos within 14 days of delivery, and ship items back within 14 days of delivery. Please always contact us before shipping anything back — unannounced returns can't be accepted. Item must be unused, in original condition with tags. Customer covers return shipping; original shipping costs are non-refundable. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the return. Received a damaged or defective item? Contact us right away with a short video of the issue and we'll arrange a replacement or repair.

In-stock pieces ship within 3 business days. Made-to-order pieces are crafted for you in our Bali studio and need an extra 7–10 business days before dispatch. We ship worldwide with DHL and FedEx — free, tracked door-to-door, arriving in 5–7 business days after dispatch. You'll receive your tracking number the moment your parcel leaves the studio. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we ship to the address given at the time of purchase.

Dreaming of a different color, length, or fit? Message us via Etsy convos and we'll craft it for you. We're happy to help with measurements — just please double-check the numbers you send, as we make your piece to exactly those measurements. Because custom and personalized pieces are made specially for you, they can't be returned or exchanged.

Colors will always look different depending on your computes color settings, the setting of camera and light when image was taken. Inconsistency and variations of color is to be expected and part of the beauty of hand dying organic fabric. This means our colors will shift from dye bath to dye bath and from season to season, based on the specific conditions when each fiber was grown. All materials take from our planet, but some are more sustainable than others. We are committed to creating from the most sustainable fibres we can source whilst staying true to the premium quality, buttery-soft fabrics our customers have come to expect and love.
All of our garments are handmade in small quantities of washed organic linen and raw organic cotton fabrics, specially woven for us by our local manufacturers. The process of making these items takes lots of time and effort, every garment is double washed once it is made. Only after such a process, we reach this pleasant extra softness of our dresses.

Kayame is a small family run organic clothing business. We are just in the beginning, trying to find our place in sustainable fashion industry. Our goal is to make people happy, while wearing our clothing. We do all the job by ourselves, trying to combine nomad zero waste life with work and art, doing all the designs, carefully choosing only organic natural fabrics at local markets, supporting local Indonesian handicrafts, all fabrics are double washed for extra softness and dyed by hands.

Being digital nomads, our life is a constant travel. All of our garments are travelled with us in unique places of Mother Earth to make photo shooting exclusive and tremendously beautiful, to fill every piece of our collection with sacred energy of holy places like Himalayan mountains or sacred Bali waterfalls and volcanos. Every time we go trekking or hiking, we put camera, shooting equipment and my beautiful dresses into our backpacks looking for spectacular places to present to you my clothing collection.
