Specifications

I love this Edwardian/Art Deco (or a tad bit later, c.1910-20's) silk ribbonwork on net lace trim ... Very feminine and beautiful. It is very textural as well. Made in Germany by the Haute Nouveaute company. Old store stock.

The colors of this trim are bold and fantastic. You have violet/purple, red, shades of blue, shades of pink, white and pale taupe silk ribbonwork embroidered onto a black silk net lace ground.

The trim is all original and in excellent, clean condition. There might be a negligible pull or two in the ribbonwork and there are a few nibbles on the absolute edges of the net lace that doesn't affect the ribbonwork at all. It is a fabulous bit of antique ribbonwork trim for your hat designs or quilts. It would also be nice used on a boudoir lampshade.
