This vintage HOPI STERLiNg OVERLAY KaCHiNa PENDANT is BEAUTIFULLY MADE! Nice deep cuts and a stylized modern design make this a very unique pendant. It's unsigned but the unusual tiny feathery design on the bottom that looks like tiny combs, can be seen in the work of Sparks Masawytewa. It's in great condition and has a generous bale on the back. It's 2-1/8" and would make a lovely gift for someone who loves Native American Jewelry.

The Sunface Kachina represents warmth, shelter for the old, bright future, and playfulness for the young.

This FABULOUS pendant was created using two layers of silver. The intricate designs are drawn and cut out by hand, then overlaid on a textured and oxidized background in the traditional Hopi style.

✦ CONDITION: This VINTAGE HOPI STERLiNg OVERLAY KaCHiNa PENDANT is in GOOD vintage condition. It has kept its original shape and there are NO breaks or dents in the sterling. The bale is soldered on tight.
I appreciate the original, as found condition of antiques, so this treasure has been gently cleaned and left with the original patina.

✦ CARE: Please take care when cleaning vintage jewelry. No harsh chemicals and ABSOLUTELY NO IMMERSION in water! (Believe me I've made that mistake n it ain't pretty) I've had great luck dry brushing jewelry with a soft bristle toothbrush. I also like to use a q-tip dipped in Windex to delicately clean n brighten the stones and setting.
