These organic cotton bread bags are perfect for storing your home made bread, and for going plastic free at the supermarket or your local bakery - switch to a reusable produce bag for a more eco friendly, zero waste way to shop!

Each bread bag is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton and at a generous 30 x 38cm, they easily accommodate a large loaf of bread or plenty of bread rolls. Making the switch to reusable bread bags not only cuts out needless plastic, but can actually help reduce food waste. Storing bread in a plastic bag (as opposed to a breathable cotton bag) can trap moisture inside the bag, causing the crust to soften and encouraging mold growth.

Wash your bag on a cool/eco setting and allow to air dry. Any microfibers released during the wash will biodegrade naturally.

Our bread bags are made from GOTS certified organic cotton by our certified Fair Trade partners - the GOTS license number appears on a label inside each bag. GOTS is a global ‘gold standard’ for textiles, ensuring that production meets specific environmental and social criteria. This includes how cotton is packed and transported; the requirement to use eco-friendly dyes; and crucially that those involved in its production receive a living wage, fair hours, and work in safe conditions.
