TABLE DESCRIPTION: The table top and apron are made from 100+ year old reclaimed barn wood. The wooden legs are hand turned and can be painted or stained to match the old wood used for the table top. The rustic beauty of the reclaimed wood, with its natural aging, wood grain, knot holes and saw marks is complemented by a natural hand waxed finish. We add an additional historic touch to all of our tables in using 100-year-old reclaimed square head nails to the corners of each table top. Due to the character found in the old wood, variations in the table top are to be expected and celebrated. Our farmhouse tables are handcrafted to achieve an historic look.

WAX STAIN & PAINT OPTIONS: You can choose to have the table completed fully in a natural wax stain or with a milk painted base (or the table can be fully painted) that is slightly distressed to recreate the look of an antique farmhouse table that has been passed down for many generations.

I had been searching for the right table for my breakfast nook for about a year when I stumbled onto ArcadianCottage's Etsy page. It was love at first sight. When placing my order, my only fear was that the table wouldn't look like the one in the photograph as I've had other furniture made before and know that, when dealing with reclaimed wood, the look can vary from time to time. I'm so pleased to say that my table looked exactly like the one in the photograph. The tabletop is beautiful and the whole table feels nice, sturdy, and well-made. Friendly FYI: If you're in a rush to receive your table, then you might want to look elsewhere. If you don't mind waiting, look no further. I ordered my table in August and its ETA was November, but it didn't ultimately arrive until around Christmas. It was definitely worth the wait.
