Bots

Bots is a micro card game where players take turns positioning their team of robots in an effort to have more of their bots survive the carnage!

Overview:
Shuffle the 10 bots and deal 4 to each player, and deal one bot facedown in the center as the Neutral Bot. Players take turns playing bots from their hand to the 8 spaces around the Neutral Bot. When both players have no more cards left in their hands, each bot attacks its neighbors, beginning with the smallest bot. After all of the bots have attacked, the player with the most survivors wins!

Why I am proud of this design:
When I designed Bots, my objectives were to make a small game that was easy to learn and play, but that felt new and exciting every time. I also wanted the game to be easy to make up new ways to play with the cards. I think that Bots is the easiest to learn of all of my games, and my friends constantly surprise me with new ways to play it, so I consider it a success :)
