Highlights
This turquoise hanging storage basket is made from a recycled duvet cover. I have cut the fabric into strips to turn into yarn that can be crocheted with. This yarn, along with being handmade, results in a unique basket with frayed fabric edges showing in places. I love the character this gives the baskets, and enjoy seeing them evolve as I work. This listing is for the exact basket in the photographs.
This basket is 25cm in diameter across the base, with the opening measuring 15cm across and is 12cm high. As seen in the photos it would make a great plant hanger or peg bag, but also could be used for a huge variety of things - who doesn't need more storage in their life!?
My storage baskets are not only making use of fabrics that would otherwise go to waste, they are stylish and have a wonderful homely feel, making them look at home in any room.
