Flannel Kitten Warming Sacks
100% cotton flannel with nylon hook and loop closure.
Baby kittens need their mom to stay warm. Sometimes that is not possible.
When orphans are fostered, a warming pad can provide comfort. These 8 inch long x 7 inch wide sacks are designed to hold a rice bag. All seams are enclosed for a durable sack that can be used over and over. The sacks have a hook and loop tape closure at the top. Pour one cup of rice into a quart freezer zip bag and heat for 30 seconds. Carefully place the bag inside the sack and the sack will give off a warmth for 30-45 minutes.
Rice is NOT included. One freezer weight zip bag IS included.

These warming sacks are also wonderful for post surgical kittens.
Use only freezer weight zip bags - storage bags are too thin and may become damaged from heating. Carefully handle to prevent burns. The moisture in the rice will create a steam. Do not exceed 30 seconds of heating in the microwave and use a new bag if the bag shows any signs of damage. Do not over-stuff the bag with rice or heat longer than 30 seconds.
Easy to clean. Remove any solid material (food or poop) from the fabric. Fasten the hook and loop tape shut, toss in the machine, wash with warm water and tumble dry on low/medium heat.
