Much to Chihiro's dismay, her parents have pulled up stakes and are moving to a small Japanese village in the countryside. On the way, her father makes a wrong turn down a lonely dirt road that ends abruptly at the entrance of a tunnel. They leave the car and decide to explore. On the other side, the family finds an abandoned amusement park and a restaurant steaming with delicious food...Suddenly a boy named Haku appears warning Chihiro that her parents are in danger. She tries to warn them but on her return, they've transformed and shapeshifted into pigs.

Like Miyazaki's previous Masterpiece "Princess Mononoke", "Spirited Away" is a fantastic tale enriched by the supremely talented team of animators at Studio Ghibli. From the moment our heroine enters this new world, we are bombarded with an overwhelming sense of detail and colors rarely seen in western animation. Scenes of Chihiro running through the field of flowers, the marvelous landscapes viewed from the train, and Haku soaring through the skies are breathtaking and some of the most lavish animation sequences ever to grace the silver screen.

It's no wonder that his award-winning masterpiece became the highest-grossing film in Japanese history. The world of Spirited Away bustles with life as mystical, and endearing creatures scurry about their daily lives. The sheer originality of Miyazaki's character designs is a joy to behold, Not since the classic tales of Lewis Carroll have we been so completely immersed in new and magical worlds. One cannot help but be completely captivated and utterly transformed.

CONDITION: This Poster is in "VERY FINE" condition, remarkable as it was displayed in a theater over (20) years ago. This beautiful poster is DOUBLE-SIDED and looks great. It has minor edge and surface wear with a vibrant gloss evidenced by the orange glare in the listing photographs. This is a highly collectible double-sided poster that will look gorgeous framed!

Please refer to the grading status in the "9-GRADE" System graphs in the attached poster photographs. Magnets were used in the photography of these posters to limit handling and wear. These magnets are silver and visible in photographs in each of the poster's (4) corners.
