So- is this gorgeous in person? Absolutely. Is it a massive pain? Also absolutely. The mounting screws were not the right size for the door. They were also hard for me to find. I contacted the seller who advised I could saw them off. I don't have the tools for that but suppose I could have gone and bought them? I ended up finding various metric screws. Also (and I understand these are hand made) all of the screw mounts were not flush, so there is a gap that varies all around where the knocker meets the door. These are quite expensive- so please know all this before purchase. This ended up being a multi week project for me and I would have liked a heads up
