I offer you this superb Provencal style faience serving dish (bourgeois Provence!). It is a creation of Pierre Motton, one of the designers invited to create for La Faïencerie De Gien.
It is a very beautiful white, a very soft white.
Its sober and classic lines are sufficient in itself by their beauty.
It dates from the 80s.

La Faïencerie De Gien is a fine faience manufacturing company located in the French town of Gien in the Center-Val de Loire region, France. Among the many earthenware works born in the 19th century, the Faïencerie de Gien is one of the most famous and the most important in Europe. Member of the prestigious Colbert Committee which brings together the major French luxury brands, the Faïencerie De Gien called on artists from the 1980s to develop new ranges and design new products and magnify earthenware.
COMITE COLBERT: Founded in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain, the Comité Colbert is a 1901 law association, which brings together 85 French luxury houses, 16 cultural institutions and 6 European luxury houses.
