This fun hatter costume has a fun, feminine twist (please ask us if you prefer pants).

The costume was created as follows:

Skirt lined with tulle made from cotton teapot fabric, plus separate crinoline.

Skirt has soft, stretch waistband plus zipper closure.

Coat is a midweight faux leather with a fun embossed pattern.

Coat is waist-length and a fitted style with attached lace cuffs.

Long, colorful “ribbon broach” adorns the left side.

Colorful cotton neck scarf.

Vest is fully lined with darts in a fishscale cotton and double snap closure

Bandolier is adjustable with 3-snap settings for lengths of 47”-50” and holds authentic antique wood thread spools

Costume comes with coat, vest, skirt, scarf & bandolier. Hat IS NOT included.


Terms of costume purchases:

Measurements:

You will be required to provide your measurements at time of purchase (unless you are purchasing a ready-to-ship costume). A photo is provided in the listing to explain the measurements needed to construct your costume. If additional measurements are needed, we will reach out to you for the information. Your costume will be constructed per the measurements that YOU provide. As such, we do not accept returns or issue refunds based on sizing issues. Please measure with care and feel free to reach out if you don’t understand a part of the measuring process.

Returns:

As costumes are both custom orders and articles of clothing, our costumes are not returnable or refundable. You will be required to select an acknowledgement during the check out process that indicates you understand the terms of your purchase.

Cancellations:

In the event a cancellation is necessary, we will accept cancellations of custom-made orders within 48 hours of the time of purchase. For “ready-to-ship" purchases, cancellations must be made within 24 hours of purchase.

Turn-around time:

The turnaround time for your purchase is the time required to create your costume. This time frame does not include shipping time. Please check the individual listing for the turnaround time required to create your costume. If we need additional time or less time, we will communicate that information to you via Etsy Messenger. Please be aware that delays in receiving measurements or details from a you will affect the turnaround time for your order.

Shipping:

We offer free shipping on all orders. The time it takes for your order to reach you is determined by the shipping method. We use both USPS and Fedex and the determination on which shipping method to use is made based on which shipper shows us the quickest delivery time for your order. All orders are shipped fully insured to cover the cost of your order. In the event that a package is damaged in shipping, we must receive notification from you within 24 hours of receipt of the package and we must receive photographs of the damage to both the costume and the packaging, in order to file a claim with the shipper. Damage claims without photographs cannot be submitted. In general, shipments take roughly 5-7 days to arrive, however you will receive a shipping notification from Etsy with a tracking number that will help you watch the shipping process and estimate when your package will arrive.

Please note: Hats (with the exception of small caps or fascinators) are always shipped separately, regardless of whether they are purchased at the same time.

Communication:

All communication for your order must be made via Etsy messenger. You should receive email notifications when a message has been sent to you via Etsy’s messenger platform. Please add Etsy to your trusted contacts so that email notifications are seen promptly. Please feel free to reach out via Etsy messenger with any questions you have about ordering or our process. We try to answer all questions promptly.
