Q: Is there is a difference between 18 Karat gold plated or 18 Karat gold filled?
A: Both gold plated and gold filled jewelry is in fact done with exactly same technique which is called 'electroplating' when jewellery is placed in a bath and 18 Karat gold is applied to the surface of jewelry with the help of electricity.
