CHOOSING YOUR WOOD

• Tamarind Wood: hard and heavy, with a naturally dark brown to near-black heartwood.
• Iroko (African Teak): mvule hardwood: dense and durable, naturally termite-resistant, golden to dark brown.
• Black Hardwood: jacaranda hardwood darkened by smoking for a deep black finish; medium hardness.
• Black Stained Acacia: hard, strong acacia, hand-stained black.
• Mukau Wood: Kenyan farm-grown hardwood (Melia volkensii): durable and termite-resistant, light pinkish brown.
• Red Mahogany: medium-hard and stable, warm reddish-brown.
• Eucalyptus Wood: blue gum: hard and strong, pale to reddish tone.
• Palm Wood: hard, fibrous grain with a striking speckled look.
• Cypress Wood: lighter in weight, pinkish to pale brown, with a fine even grain.
