This book-shaped box is sized to fit most comic books or magazines. About 20 comics will fit inside.

There is an area on the spine where you can add some custom text. The cover is blank and ready for you to add your own comic-inspired engraving.

This design will work with laser cutters(Glowforge, K40, etc)

All of the parts are made from 3mm(1/8") thick material. Plywood, MDF or similar materials are recommended.

Everything will fit on one 30" x 13" piece of material. The largest part is 11" x 8.8". This may be too large for smaller machines like a K40. Double check the limits of your Y axis.

A Glowforge will need one 19" x 10" and two 12" x 9" pieces of material.

The hinges are fully internal so this book box can fit flush in-between real books.

Separate sets of files are included for two different box sizes.

The dimensions for the smaller Comic book box are:
Outside dimensions: 11" x 9.4" x 2"
Inside dimensions: 10.5" x 7.4" x 1.8"

The dimensions for the larger Magazine box are:
Outside dimensions: 11.5" x 10.25" x 2"
Inside dimensions: 11" x 8.25" x 1.8"

These file types are included in the download:
*SVG
*DXF
*LBRN
*RLD

There is also a PDF with assembly instructions.

Any backgrounds, logos, framed or cut images are for illustration purposes to show what can be achieved with this digital download.

The files will be available for instant download after purchase. The files will be sent to you via an email with a link to download.

The completed product can be sold commercially for small businesses.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have before / after ordering.
