This is my newest style of bottle opener keychain, totally hand-forged from steel.

I heat a small piece of stock up to over 2,000 degrees F in my forge and then go to work on it, tapering, scrolling, and punching the working end. The eyelet for attaching the keyring is punched in the orange-hot steel, not drilled.

Last comes the personalization, up to 12 characters + spaces (convo me if you really do need more room), also punched in while the piece is glowing hot.
