Easy-to-follow pattern! I used this to make my small dog a costume for a 4th of July pet parade and she won the costume contest! The only changes I made was adding a ponytail to the back, like I saw in another listing by the seller, and I closed the ear holes, as my dog has floppy ears and they weren't comfortable going up into the hat. I recommend this pattern for all of you 4th of July pet parade costume contest needs 🤠

I did research on the uniform of the American Revolution, and decided on this particular one. There were many different color variations depending on various districts of the country. The colors can be changed, for example, to tan and blue, which was also a popular uniform at the time.
