Yes, I do custom orders. For minor customizations such as adding extra holes or cutting off extra length of the collar in designs where it is possible without building the collar from scratch, there is no additional charge. For changes that require special materials such as a different color crystal, stud or hardware, or for stitching a non-standard length, I charge 2 hours of additional labor at $60 plus any incremental material costs, and add 3-4 weeks of processing time. Please email me your requirements and I will create a custom listing for you on Etsy to order from.

Correct sizing is critical for your dog's comfort, but many buyers buy a larger size collar than needed. This is never a good idea. You just need enough collar length that is needed for a snug fit. Anything longer is extra weight on your dog's neck and additional collar length flapping around when you close the buckle. I use premium bridle leather on all my designs, which quickly conforms to neck shape with use, so a tight fit is most comfortable. I measure each collar length from the inside after closing the buckle before I ship it to you. For your dog's comfort, please actually measure your dog's neck size with a soft measuring tape and order the best fit. BlazingPaws collars will fit perfectly if the neck size provided is accurate.

For leather to last a long time, it must be cared for in the same way as you would your own skin. The key to leather collar longevity is the practice of cleaning it as soon as it gets dirty due to fun times in the yard or at a dog park. Also, leather should NEVER be washed, it will deform as it dries. The easiest method of leather care is to wipe dirt and sweat from immediately after use with a sponge or cloth that is barely moistened with cool water. Then rub a thin layer of glycerin soap on the leather to seal the pores and keep it soft but not sticky. If you want to get fancy, there are several convenient leather cleaning and conditioning products available, which can be used to bring out that new leather look every time.

SIZING:
Sizing is extremely important. In order to get the right fit, you must measure your dog's neck size in inches and place your order for the correct size using the Vibrania size chart image. The Vibrania line is designed to fit dogs of all sizes, from pocket dog breeds to XXL dogs. The width of the collar increases as the size goes up. The smallest size is 0.75 inches wide and the XL and XXL sizes are 1.5 inch wide.

Ohhhh my goodness, I LOVE this collar! It is so gorgeous and thick and soft and extremely high quality. The hardware is sturdy too. Furthermore, when I messaged the seller because I was uncertain about sizing, he was prompt and helpful-- THEN he included a second collar just in case I had ordered the wrong size, so I could try both. I'm definitely going to order one for my other dog...... and I may need to get them in other colors, because I have a feeling this is going to last a very long time :)

I like the collar. I measured my labs neck according to the chart but it's too big. I'll take it somewhere to add more holes and cut off the access. I love the name plate! Very classy! I don't think this will work for baths so I'll have to get a cheap collar for that.
