Highlights
Little reminders to help children be kinder to themselves.
Children hear so many messages about what they should be doing, getting right and getting better at. These cards offer something a little different: simple, positive reminders that help children notice their strengths, make space for their feelings and remember that they don't have to be perfect.
Details:
♡ A set of 10 kids' affirmation cards
♡ Positive messages designed with children in mind
♡ Colourful designs
♡ Designed and printed in Ireland
♡ Suitable for everyday encouragement and reflection
Why I created them:
I'm Amie, a psychotherapist working in mental health, and Rosemount Mill grew out of my work with people and recognising the need to be kinder to ourselves. Where better to start than childhood, and I wanted to create a version for children that was fun and easy to incorporate into their day.
How to use the cards:
There are lots of ways to make them part of everyday life.
♡ Choose one card each morning.
♡ Keep one beside the child's bed.
♡ Use a card as a conversation starter.
♡ Pop one in a lunchbox or school bag.
♡ Choose one together when the day has been difficult.
♡ Let your child choose the card that means something to them.
There's no right or wrong way to use them — the aim is simply to bring kind, encouraging messages into a child's everyday life.
A thoughtful gift for:
♡ Children who could use a little encouragement
♡ A child starting school or a new school year
♡ Birthdays and Christmas
♡ A child going through a change or transition
♡ Grandchildren
♡ Nieces and nephews
♡ Children who enjoy mindfulness and positive activities
♡ Parents looking for simple ways to encourage self-kindness
♡ Teachers, counsellors and other professionals working with children
