This sale is for two PDF files, not a finished product. This file is printable and allows you to make your own sheets of simple-to-sew 10" pineapple blocks. Just use a regular white copy paper (8.5" x 11") and print at 100%. Print as many as you need for a project! Cut along the outermost dashed lines - this is precision drafted by me and the block is made to measure to exactly 10" if printed at fullsize/100% with no reducing, along with a 1/4" joining allowance. There is a one inch test square on each sheet.
This block requires you print 2 halves - and then match them along the centerline and tape them together. Regular scotch tape works fine and you can easily sew through it. This block is made up of 1/2" finished width strips so it uses *a lot* of strips - and scraps that are 1" - 1.5" wide work really well for this pattern - this pattern has 8 full "round" around the center mini economy block.
There are three variations included - extra-wide, wide and narrow strips. Narrow is 1/2" finished strips (use 1" or wider fabric) and Wide is 3/4" strips with few rounds - great for learning, while the narrow version is more of a challenge. Extra-wide will be for beginners, simple 1" finished strips - use a Honeybun! And fussy-cut that center block if you wish! All versions will result in a 10" finished block with 1/4" seam allowances for block joining.
This is a no-frills block - no instructions included so it assumes you already know how to use a foundation paper piecing pattern. Just start at piece 1 and work your way outward in "rounds" - 1, 2, 3...when you add the final corner pieces, then press and trim 1/4" out from the last solid lines and your block is done!
ALSO: You cannot print from the APP. You must use a browser on a computer and go to etsy.com to print. Even easier - go to the email you receive after you purchase and you'll see a button to click on - that'll take you right to your purchase! I'm happy to help if you can't figure things out...but most times people are trying to print from the Etsy App and you just can't. :)
