Original 1940-1950's Era Intermediate Girl Scout Uniform Dress. This dress may have been a uniform years ago, but now its the perfect little vintage dress for any occasion! Because of the age of the dress I had to reinforce the pockets and some of the hem so it could continue to be worn for years more. It also has some ink stains near the left pocket (as shown in picture). I added a vintage upcycled quilt patch to the back to give the dress a more individual flare. This is sized for teenage girls at a 12 1/2 dress size. But in women's letter sizing it appears to be a size SMALL. It is 100% cotton and as a very slight sheen that is wearing off with age.

I may not have sewn this particular piece from scratch, however I felt that it was important to patch up this piece and give it a new life. This dress certainly has stories to tell, and you could be it's new chapter!
