What is omamori?

Omamori (御守 or お守り) are traditional Japanese amulets that are said to provide luck or protection.
The word mamori (守り) means protection, with omamori being the sonkeigo (honorific) form of the word. Omamori is often given as a gift to another person as a physical form of well-wishing. Remember to not open or wash your omamori, as it's believed to remove all the power it has.

Orders are shipped once a week, usually before the weekend (either Thursday or Friday midday), except on shop breaks & holidays. Shipping from the Netherlands.

Normal delivery times: EU 1-2 weeks & other countries in 2-4 weeks, but might sometimes take up to 4 months. Please be patient while waiting for an order from me ♡

You can add tracking to your order at the checkout. With tracked mail you can ask for a refund from your local post & are also insured with Etsy Purchase Protection in case the order gets lost or damaged in mail. Orders shipped without tracking are done at your own risk.

Most untracked orders come with a light tracking number, however you usually can't use this tracking number to track your order fully as it's only an administration number my post uses internally.

If your order doesn’t arrive, please contact your local post provider first. If you added tracked shipping your tracking number is included in the shipping confirmation email & in the purchases page on Etsy.

If you can’t figure out with the help of your post office where your package is, please reach out to me and I will try to help. Remember to reach out before the tracking expires and include your order number!

I don't refund orders lost in mail that were shipped with untracked shipping & orders with tracking marked as delivered.

If your order gets delivered back to me because the post was unable to deliver the package to the address you provide & you want me to deliver your order to you again, I unfortunately need to ask you to pay for shipping costs again.

If you want a refund instead of resend, I'll refund the items minus shipping (this also applies to orders shipped for free as I still have needed to pay shipping out of my pocket for these orders).

I'm striving to keep most of my packaging as environmental friendly as possible :)

At the moment I'm using for example paper/cardboard mailers, paper bags, tissue paper & paper/eco plastic packaging stickers. The only non environmental friendly items I'm using are cellophane bags + plastic mailers for some items that needs it (to keep them safe from damage) & reused bubblewrap.
