Specifically, please note the following before purchasing...

ZIPPED FOLDER:
all items come in zipped folders to decrease the download time. Please note you will need to know how to unzip the file folder PRIOR to using the file. If you are not familiar with this process, I have a youtube video that explains how to do this that I will link here--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p57fgluj0_I&t=26s

LAYERING:
SVG/DXF/EPS/AI/PSD/Silhouette file: The image is split as follows:
team name = 1 layer
year = 2 layers ("20" & "XX")
optional info = 1 layer
half of soccerball = 2 layers (white + black)
line under soccerball = 1 layer
word "soccer" = 1 layer
line under soccer = 1 layer
**the half soccer image is layered so that you can put vinyl on top of vinyl as I HATE matching edges of vinyl! However, if you want to mach edges of vinyl, please note that you will need to use the cut/slice function within your vinyl cutting program. no further instructions are provided for such function**

JPG and PNG are NOT files that contain layers; thus their colors cannot be changed. The MS Word template contains a PNG file and thus you CANNOT CHANGE the color of the drawing portion of this design within the MS Word template. You can change the color of all other text; however, it is your responsibility to have a working knowledge of how to do this within MS Word. No further instructions for MS Word come with this purchase than those listed above in the second photo. Please note it is your responsibility to know the parameters of file types within the programs that you use as well as what file types your programs support and vice versa.

FONTS:
-There is a folder included within your zipped files that has a LIST of the fonts used in this emblem as well as links for DOWNLOADING them and BASIC INSTALLATION instructions. You will need to download and install these prior to editing the files. These are FREE fonts.

TEXT BOXES:
AI/PSD and DXF/SVG/EPS with the name "ACTIVE TEXT BOXES" & MS Word & Silhouette Studio Template:
The following contain POINT AND CLICK text boxes for TEAM NAME, YEAR, OPTIONAL INFO that are FULLY EDITABLE WITHIN applications that support their file type (please note it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know what file types your programs support!!) You can change the wording as well as the color, shape, and size. However, you will need a program that can EDIT vectors to change these AND keep the same font style as seen above. To edit these yourself, you will need a basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (or the vector editing program you use) and how to manipulate text within that program. If you are planning on having these printed in a large quantity such as by a t-shirt printing company, they will most likely already have the program(s) needed to modify these vectors for you.

-SVG (labeled "FOR CRICUT") & EPS/DXF (labeled "VECTOR TEXT BOXES")--You CANNOT simply click on the text for TEAM NAME, YEAR, OPTIONAL INFO and start writing where my text is with these files. This is NOT because I am a mean person, a bad designer, etc etc. but rather because cricut DOES NOT support importing SVG that have point and click text boxes. THUS, to work around this issue, we have developed the following way to use the SVG file. In the SVG file, the text you see above are IMAGES (photos, vectors, clipart) NOT active text boxes that you can click and edit. Thus, you will need to download the aforementioned fonts, install them and then create the "Name" text box, etc using my text "images" in this file as a guide for placement, etc. IF you wish to use the same fonts, I have included a zipped folder within your purchase that has 1) where to download the font used and 2) instructions to install the font on your computer. Please note it is your responsibility to know how to install fonts within the interface of specialty programs that you use. 😊

CRICUT FONTS:
