Certain items that are not customized can be returned if they are unused (not installed) and in their original packaging. They must be sent back to us within 14 days from the shipment date for a 15% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. Your refund can only be issued back to the original form of payment. Returns of this nature must be received in new, unused condition (not installed), and in original packaging. The product cannot have noticeable wear and tear, rust, or scratches. We will issue a refund once the product has been received and inspected. **We do NOT offer returns on any handrail orders. Please double check your measurements before choosing your rail size.**

If an item was ordered with customization, i.e. house numbers, special dimensions, or characters, it cannot be returned for reasons other than warranty issues. We DO NOT accept cancellations for custom items if they have already been built. If the item has already been fabricated, but we have not yet shipped it at the time of cancellation, we only offer a refund for the shipping fees.

We do NOT accept returns on items that ship via LTL freight. This includes our Overland Mailbox, Stratford Mailbox and Fire Pits. Our Dexter Custom modern mailbox is made of heavy 3/16" thick steel and features your custom laser-cut house numbers on both sides of the mailbox. This heavy-duty curbside mailbox could survive a nuclear war while still providing a modern and sleek aesthetic. Time to make your neighbors jealous!

We build and deliver this mailbox in raw hot rolled steel. Much like the grain in wood, this dark steel finish comes with a variety of heat marks from the raw steel cooling in the steel mill. Most people let this mailbox develop a handsome rust patina over time. The pictures show a product that has already rusted over completely. When your mailbox arrives, it will be dark grey in color (please scroll through the thumbnails to see examples of each).

POSTS: We offer two types of STEEL POSTS for mounting (see details below). Please choose which post works best for your application from the drop-down menu.

60" Post Option: Set in Concrete -- This option allows you to set the post into concrete up to 18 inches. The entire length of the post is 60 inches. The post comes with a mounting plate that will align with the pre-cut holes in the Dexter mailbox. Hardware is included.

42" Post Option: Existing Footing -- This option is 42″ long and comes with a bolt plate for mounting to an existing footing or pavement. Hardware is included.

LOCKING: We offer our Dexter series in NON-LOCKING and LOCKING versions. The Locking option adds a door behind the main front mail door with a slot at the top.

FLAG: We now offer two choices of flags when purchasing your mailbox, a steel flag or a red powder-coated flag.
