Personalized Pineapple Door Hanger: Weatherproof Coastal Home Decor

Bring tropical, summertime vibes to your home with this personalized pineapple door hanger, which can be customized with your last name, "welcome," "on beach time," etc. It can also be used as an exterior wall sign, to add a custom touch to your home and a beach-y vibe to your curb appeal or patio. Our line of coastal beach house themed decorative accents are made of 1/2" PVC, which makes them 100% weatherproof for exterior use! Please see below for more detailed information.

PRODUCT INFO:

• SIZE: Available in 15” / 19” / 23” diameter.

• MATERIAL: It is made from PVC, which is 100% weatherproof and intended for outdoor use (even in the harshest conditions, like Florida sunshine, rain showers & salt air!). It can be in direct sunlight and exposed to weather conditions and will not yellow, mildew, or rust.

• COLOR: We do not offer paint services for our products; all signs will arrive WHITE. PVC is a bright white UV resistant material, and will not yellow over time. Your product will arrive ready to hang as-is, or ready if you would like to paint it. We take the time to hand sand every sign after it's cut, so it is smooth and prepped for painting if you choose to paint it yourself. Because PVC is a weatherproof material, there is no need to prime or seal it. We recommend using an exterior acrylic based paint if you would like to paint it. This material takes paint very well, and is quite easy to DIY paint yourself.

**Please note that we do not recommend painting PVC dark colors if installed in areas that get direct sunlight. Dark pigments in the paint absorb significantly more heat from the sun than lighter colors, transferring this intense heat to the PVC material underneath. While PVC naturally expands and contracts with temperature changes, the excessive, uneven heat from dark paint can cause it to expand too much to return to its original dimensions when it cools, leading to warping. We recommend using a high quality exterior acrylic latex paint with a light reflective value (LRV) of 55 or higher. There are also specialized vinyl safe paints specifically made for dark colors. We recommend speaking to a paint specialist regarding vinyl safe paint for dark colors.**

• HANGING: If used as a front door hanger, you can simply hang it from a hook over the door, and no holes are needed for the sign. Do NOT hang your exterior door hangers between a glass/storm door and your front door, as this will create a heat pocket, which will magnify the heat and could warp the PVC. If you would like to secure the sign to an exterior wall of your home, then please include a note with your order that you would like for us to add 4 small pre-drilled pilot holes into the sign for you, for easy placement. It can be secured onto the structure of your choice using 4 small screws. Hanging hardware is not included. PVC is a soft material, so please do not put too much pressure on it when screwing it into place, or you risk puncturing the material.

• All lettering is uppercase.

SHIPPING INFO: We offer FREE UPS Ground shipping, with the exception of shipping to PO Boxes, HI, AK, & rural areas, which will ship via USPS Mail, and could take longer to arrive. Please refer to current estimated delivery time frame shown under the Shipping section of this listing, for an accurate estimate of order arrival. Please note that your order will ship to the address that is submitted with your order. Please double check the shipping address BEFORE you submit your order to ensure the shipping address is accurate. If an item is returned to me due to an invalid address, the customer is responsible for shipping charges to re-ship it with a new shipping label.

SHOP POLICES: Please note that due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We make all of our products to order based on customer specifications (size, pilot hole preference, personalization, etc.) when orders are placed. We do not keep any products "on the shelf" to be able to accept non-personalized product returns. If your products warp due to being painted a dark color after you receive your order, we are not responsible for replacements (see above under "color"). In the rare instance that an item is damaged during shipping, please reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving your order (with pictures of damage to sign & box), so we can immediately address a replacement for you.
