I have been wanting to create a pearl series for quite some time as it not only gorgeous but is believed to carry emotional boosts much like the stones in my shop. Pearls are said to empower, strengthen, and bestow wisdom. This classic look seemed necessary in a collection like this. A string of pearls has been donned for generations as the most beautiful piece of jewelry in someone's collection.

What is gold-filled?
Gold-filled pieces are stunning jewels that are second to pure gold. These pieces have gold that is mechanically bonded to the base metal. ( i.e brass and copper). Gold-filled is perfect for everyday wear. Because there is a higher percentage of gold bonded to the base, these babies won’t tarnish easily and are perfect for all skin types. ✨

What is gold-vermeil?
A higher quality level of gold plating on 925 sterling silver as the base metal. While it may sound similar to gold plated jewelry, gold vermeil jewelry has a much thicker layer of gold. ( 2.5 microns thick).
This means it is less likely to fade, tarnish, or wear off like gold plated jewelry. Gold vermeil doesn’t tarnish easily but because the base layer is Sterling Silver, it can easily be polished away. These pieces will not turn any skin green and are perfect for all skin types.

Overall,
As time goes on, eventually all gold pieces will begin to tarnish. But tarnishing does not mean it’s damaged or ruined. :) Tarnishing is a natural process that happens when metal alloys in gold pieces react with oxygen. Most of the time tarnishing can easily be polished off or shined away with a polishing cloth. A professional jeweler can also deep clean your gold jewelry safely. 🔮🖤
