Highlights
I came across several saddle blankets and horse blankets when picking in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This is a really nice example of a colorful horse blanket with a tradition American plaid pattern and bright and vibrant colors. There is a small hole about the size of a dime, several repairs, and some straps are loose, but generally it is in good condition. The large, almost square blanket measures about 84" by 82". The cotton is soft and pleasing to the touch, and there are no stains, no smells, no tobacco or smoke odors. There are likely to be old horse hairs in the cotton fabric so please don't buy this if you are allergic to horses. It weighs over 2 pounds.
