Don't throw away that old Altoid tin - Reuse it to store your dice! Or maybe you already use one for your dice but don't want them banging into each other. Grab one of these high-density foam inserts! Designed to keep your dice snug as a bugbear in a rug!

The D6 inserts are perfect for 16 mm dice (15.9mm) from places such as Chessex - choose 6 or 8 dice versions

The D20 insert is for 20mm dice

The D10 & D4 are for avg D10 dice from 20mm sets

The last one is for a 7 dice set. Most 20mm gem sets fit in this insert***

Foam size is 2.28 x 3.64 inches - 0.40 inches thick

***Due to there being no standardization of dice sizes, there is no guarantee all your dice will fit perfectly. (*I have one set that fits perfectly, I have one set that the D12 is loose and the D6 fits very snug, and I have another set that the D10s are a little loose) Measurements of the dice used for this insert as follows: D4 = 24mm across one edge , D6 = 15mm wide, D8 = 19.5 mm across one side, D12 = 19.9mm wide (flat to flat), D10 = 23.3 point to point, D20 = 20.4 mm wide (flat to flat). Please do not give me a poor review due to sizing as I have no way of knowing the exact size of your dice - this is an average of many dice sets sizes.

Also comes with a thin felt adhesive insert for the bottom of the tin to protect your dice!

I'm pretty happy with this foam insert. It took some convincing to make it fit in the tin (Altoids tins have a small lip at the top of the edges) but overall it fits nicely and is snug. It came with an adhesive velvet-like pad for the bottom of the tin too. The insert also arrived slightly early. I'd buy from this shop again. (Note: the decorated felt pad in my attached photo is of my own doing, not that of the seller).
