Germany - Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register)

On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap). My company MB CIKI PIKI ( MastercraftShop) is registered with LUCID, which is the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR). Producers/distributors pay a license fee to the dual system for the collection, sorting and recycling of the packaging they introduced to the market. My Dual System partner is Activate by Reclay. Please separate the packaging and recycle when you can.

The best way to care for your new light is to regularly gently clean the surface with a very mildly damp soft cloth. Alternatively it can also be done with a dry soft cloth.

What light bulb can be used with my new light?

Your new awesome light will come with a standard ( if not specified otherwise) e26/e27 light bulb socket. This refers to the base of the light bulb that screws into the light bulb socket. The "glass" part of the light bulb can be any size as long as it fits inside the shade. The pendant lights are designed in such a way that a standard size bulb type A19 or A60 will work perfectly. A19 or A60 refers to the widest point of the bulb, being 19inches/60 millimetres wide. I would recommend getting a clear glass bulb. Commonly these are called Edison type bulbs. These work great with the whole pendant light aesthetic. They are usually emit warm light at 2700 kelvin to 3200 kelvin. Frosted bulbs can also be used!

What wattage bulbs can i use in the new wooden light?

You can use bulbs up to 22watts. I would recommend a regular LED bulb, that draws about 15 watts and shines just like a regular ( incandescent) 100 watts one. So plenty of light at little energy draw.

Can a dimmer switch be used with the my new wooden chandelier light?

Yes, you can use a dimmer switch. The cord is compatible. Please make sure that you use light bulb that also is compatible with the dimmer. Usually this info is indicated on the light bulb box.

Is this light compatible with USA/Canada/UK/EU power grid?

Yes, the light is rated to work with USA/Canada/UK/EU power grids.

Can you make a custom size light?

Yes! As all lights are made in my workshop, almost any light can be made in a custom bigger or even smaller size. Just contact me and we will work it out!

Can the cord's lenght be adjusted? Can i get a longer cord?

Yes, the cord can be adjusted as needed while installing the light. Sure thing, just contact me. I will charge a bit extra for this, but it will be a very fair price.

CORD LENGTH: Black cord will be 70"/180cm in length. White cord will be 70"/180cm in length. Cord is textile covered for a premium look and feel. A longer cord is always possible, just send me a message and we will work it out :) The ceiling cup will be the same color as the cord.

VOLTAGE AND BULB TYPE :Light works with all voltages 110-220V (USA, AUSTRALIA, EUROPE). A standard (E26/E27) type bulb will work perfectly with your new light. Would recommend using a 25watt LED bulb as it draws little energy and shines like a regular 100watt ( incandescent) bulb.

The lamp needs assembly, but it is simple to assemble. Easy manual included. No glue needed due to secure click and fix system.
