Hand Carved Wooden Mug, Norse Viking Cup, Medieval Style
Item highlights
Seller's description
Hand carved cup. Medieval style. Price is for 1 cup.
We decided to make bowls stylized as medieval "Bratyna" or "Kasa". Ceremonial drinking bowls were traditional in Kyivan Rus (it was named "Bratyna", it comes from the word "brat" - brother) and Norway ("Kasa") since Medieval times. These vessels were used for ritual purposes and were decorated with images of animals or various symbols.
It turned out cups similar to Guksi cup. By the way, they fit very well with our larger vessels with two horse heads.
The color of the product may differ slightly from that shown in the photo. The item is impregnated with natural toning fluid based on vegetable components and is covered with natural beeswax (without varnish). It is safe to use.
Please note that it is not advisable to leave liquids in the vessel for a long time. Because wood absorbs moisture and can crack and bend.
The item made of solid piece of wood.
