Rustic Wood Sign Blanks 6" to 26" Length Options // For Handmade Art Decoration, DIY Signs for Home, Weddings, Party Venues, Outdoor Events

These rustic wood sign blanks are made from naturally weathered and aged reclaimed barn-wood style timber boards. Use these to make up you own signs or decoration pieces for your home, as a handmade item to gift, for weddings, party occasions or other events where you want to relate information along with a rustic natural design aesthetic.

The timber boards used to make each sign blank will have acquired individual character and patina from former use alongside weathering effects that exposure to the natural elements sun, wind and rain delivers over time. The reclaimed timber used to make each piece is carefully sanded in a three-stage process to retain its rustic weathered nature, leaving a fine, smooth-to-touch brushed surface finish and clean authentic rounded-over style edges.

Once sanded smooth the timber surface is left in a natural state without any sort of wax, oil or varnish coating to inhibit your decoration options — the next stage for these rustic wooden pieces will be down to your imagination and creativity.

x

Width: 3-inches Wide or 4-5 inches Wide Options] — Please Choose.

Board Thickness: 9-12mm

* Please Note:

As with all timber measurements width and thickness are nominal dimensions so may vary slightly from board to board, hence the range indicated.

For reference purposes 3-inch boards could be from 70-75mm wide metric and 4-5-inches wide boards could be from 100mm to 125mm wide metric.

Variation in width and thicknesses across a selections of boards is an inherent nature of formerly sawn/dimension timber that has subsequently undergone natural weathering, ageing and seasoning affects.

RECLAIMED WOOD
...............................

All the reclaimed wood used to make these sign blanks comes from heat-treated timber i.e. this timber has not undergone any industrial chemical preservative treatments so is safe for the home environment.

This is weathered reclaimed wood so each piece may contain knots, small cracks, the odd nail hole and colour variation from sun, wind and rain exposure and naturally occurring spalting affects happening within the timber over time — these features are not defects but the inherent character of naturally aged wood.
