Yes, I have a degenerative corneal disease known as Keratoconus and my eyesight is again degrading. Currently without glasses I am at 20/600, and with glasses I'm about 20/300. This is why I sometimes miss small supports or details or printing defects. But, and I can't say this enough, IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR MINI ... just contact me. Most designers currently design in 32mm scale or larger. This means (and can very based on the designer) that a model will be 28mm from toes to eyes for the average human. Alternatively, for 32mm scale, it would be 32mm from toes to eyes for the average human. Some designers measure from toes to head, or ankles to head - but honestly it doesn't matter.

Why doesn't it matter? Good question. These are fantasy miniatures, therefore only rarely are we actually talking about average humans. Many times we are talking about halflings, dwarves, elves, trolls, orcs, dragons etc. All of these have different "average" heights. Additionally, just like in the real world, average is the ... well the average. There will be taller and short everything.

Please remember there will ALWAYS be some level of clean up, gluing, priming, and painting involved in the miniatures hobby. If you want ready to play, painted, glued etc miniatures, then this is not the hobby for you. Instead you should seek your local hobby shop and see what they have for a selection from cheap overseas brands. Additionally, there are a plethora of Youtube Videos about how to prime models, and paint models. Games Workshop does a great job of introducing people to this hobby, and you should at the very lease, expect that level of miniature interaction. You will need the basics: Superglue, sandpaper, primer, acrylic paint, modeling knife.
