I am an experienced home dressmaker and have purchased & downloaded numerous patters from Etsy. Sellers have always been very helpful and quick to solve problems. This seller has not answered any messages or tried to help me decipher her "easy" instructions. I turned to my former sewing teacher, who was a pattern cutter for a major clothing company and her response to the instructions was, " I hope you didn't pay for this pattern, it makes no sense." Well I did pay, more than i have ever paid for a PDF pattern. The instructions and photos are not clear and certainly, when I followed them exactly, the pattern did not sew up correctly! For those who found this pattern easy, lucky you. I've now abandoned this fight and gone back to a tried and tested pattern, purchased from another seller. BTW, still awaiting a reAresponse.

Dear S.C, sorry you had difficulties and apologies for my late response due to a personal hardship. This VTG pattern includes the original sewing instructions too. Most pattern reproductions only include the original sewing instructions. However, when I can I try to sew up the pattern and add an extra step by step sewing instruction with full photos made by me, the way I sew it. This gives another way to help the person to sew the garment. The sewing is not an exact science and can be executed in many different ways to achieve a great result. I am also a professional NY fashion designer with many years of experience, as well as a sewing teacher for adults. My way might differ from your reference person's way. However, if my instruction were unclear to you, the original instructions were also available for you.
