All products should be stored in a dark, cool area, preferably away from bathrooms due to shower steam and hotter temperatures. Shelf life is about a year.

Can I use this on my face?

You can use this on your face but start slow and test on area first which I recommend for all products. If you notice any reaction/allergy, stop usage.

What makes your tallow different?

I put a lot of love and care into every detail of my tallow. I source only premium ingredients that are pure/organic. The cows for example is grassfed AND finished throughout their entire life. Finding this tallow is going to be more expensive in nature. I also do not dilute the tallow with fillers that are cheaper to use. I use more expensive options like Jojoba and Squalane. I realize I could be selling at a more competitive price by cutting these out but then the tallow would not be the magical formula it is today :) Please take a few minutes to read through all the amazing testimonies to see for yourself. I also offer free samples and trial sizes for purchase because I want this to work for you in the best way possible!

Why does the texture of tallow differ?

Each batch is so unique in nature since it is from nature :) Some batches may be thicker, some thinner, this makes it really hard to work with so I have to make tweaks here and there but the base formula will always remain the same. You may notice some batches are thicker while others are thinner. Powders, essential oils, no essential oils, etc can really change the texture of the tallow. The 100% tallow will be different as well because it does not have any other ingredients, making it more of a thicker whip. Please feel free to message me with any questions for specific tallow textures.

this is hard to answer. If you read my reviews, there are so many who sayno smell at all while others will notice a slight beef smell. Every batch of tallow is unique and different in nature. I will render as much as possible to rid any smells but the best thing you can do to mitigate a beefy smell is to purchase a scented tallow with essential oil. If you purchase unscented or 100% tallow, you will likely smell the beef smell which will go away pretty much when absorbed in the skin. Please do remember that I sell very small sample sizes, .5 and 1 oz for you to try before making a bigger purchase and if you are purchasing but curious about other whips, please reach out and ask for a free mini sample.

This lip balm in the TIN is designed to be lighter meaning it may take more “warming up” on finger in the tin before applying but you can control how thick or thin of a layer you want this way. A little does go a long way! You can also use an applicator or the back of your mail to scrape before applying. If you would like an applicator, drop me a note and I can include one.

Everything I make is PUFA free. I also wash each and every jar/tin with reverse osmosis water.

An important note also in my descriptions: With tallow, it is natural in its purest form. This means that texture, consistency, and scent can vary from batch-to-batch. At times, the tallow can have small grains or at least feel grainy. This will quickly dissolve on skin when rubbed in and will not actually exfoliate as they are the tallow itself and not abrasive. Also note that different essential oils and powders can change consistency of tallow as well so if you order several, you may notice a change, this does not mean the anything is wrong with the tallow. Tallow does not “spoil” in the form of smelling bad. Rather, it thickens up and actually loses smell if unscented and will lose scent of essential oil if scented, over a period of time, usually over a year.

Store at room temperature and avoid heat or humidity. Best in a cool and dark location. I do not use any preservatives in my products so if not stored properly, there is a chance of spoiling. Use at your own discretion and always feel free to message me for questions. I cannot give med. advice.
