The original cyanotype will arrive wrapped in an eco-friendly package and will be sent with a tracking number with a sturdy cardboard backing in a flat mailer envelope.

♢Learn about the process :
To create this botanical print, I hand-coat the paper with a light-sensitive liquid. Once dry, I put my original paper cut on the paper and place it under the sun. It takes from a few minutes to a half of hour (depending of the sun) for the exposed areas to change color. When washed, the exposed photogram turns into a vibrant dark blue/Prussian blue.

♢Advice on the care of cyanotypes :
Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent the image from fading. The good news is that cyanotypes can regenerate! Prints that have faded due to prolonged exposure to light can often be restored to their original tone if stored in a dark environment.
