This is a 1970s maxi dress printed with a floral pattern on a navy blue background. The dress is made in a full length with capelet sleeves that taper to the cuff. The dress has a scoop neckline with a decorative bow and an empire waist and is form fitting with an A line skirt. The dress does up the back with a nylon zipper and it is unlined.
Label: Only a cardboard remnant
Color: Pink, orange, red, purple and dropped out white against navy blue
Material: No content label, but most likely a polyester jersey
Sizing: No size label, and although it should fit a small to medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 14 1/2” across the shoulder/sleeve seams
Sleeves: 22 1/2” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2” long
Bust: 34”
Waist: 28”
Hips: 36”
Overall length: 54”
Condition: It is in very good condition with the exception of discolouration to the lining at the underarm area - otherwise, no other discolouration, wear, tear, stains or odours. This dress was well cared for and stored over the years.
Interesting colour palette on this 1970s maxi dress…..very flattering style if it fits….
