Vintage Harrington Factory Pulley: Industrial Hoist, Mounting Bracket

This large and heavy pulley or hoist was once mounted in a factory, and this is The Harrington Differential Hoist capable of lifting 1/2 ton, and all that information is embossed on the metal pulley wheel. Probably made at the early part of the 1900s, maybe up to the 1930s, this was made in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The superficial rust is earned. The hook at the top rotates freely, as do the large metal wheel. The hook is almost certainly hand forged and it has "VULCAN" embossed on one side, while the mounting bracket and the wheel appear to be cast metal. In quite good condition. The pulley or hoist measures about 11 1/4" high and the metal bracket mount is about 6 5/8" wide and 2" deep. The metal wheel alone is about 5 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/4" thick. The whole thing weighs about 6 pounds. In good condition.
