HISTORY OF HERBAL TEAS: Extraction of herbal goodness by steeping in boiling water, is traditionally called “infusion,” or “tisane,” but better known as simply “tea.”

Tea infusions are the classic, fastest, least expensive, and easiest way to take herbs, but our loose, tinned herbs can also be used for making extracts, tinctures, decoctions (which is also the first step to syrups), infused honeys, infused oils, vinegars, and capsules.

Girl Gone Herbal's "Simple & Sustainable Tea" line is designed to be just that: straightforward, single organic ingredients, recyclable/reusable packaging and no added anything. Simple as that! :)

HOW TO USE:

Use 1-3 teaspoons per 6-8oz cup for tea, and steep up to 5 minutes.

1-2 tablespoons to 1-4 cups of boiling water for infusions, or 3 tablespoons per 1 quart of cold water (then bring to a slow simmer) for decoctions.

Each 2oz volume (1/4 cup) tin holds approximately 3-4 tablespoons of dried herbs. Makes approximately 10-12, 6oz cups.
