This Handwoven Baby Wrap Sling is breathable and comfortable for your newborn or toddler. Soft straight out of the package so it is easy to use if you are brand new to wrapping. High quality, supportive and comfortable - UNLIKE a stretchy material that can sag as your baby grows, this wrap will be comfortable even up to 4 years old (or beyond). Safety tested: this wrap has passed US safety standards (ASTM F2907) in a government approved laboratory in May 2023.

I include simple instructions but with hundreds of ways to wrap (on your chest, on your hip, or on your back), be sure to contact me when you’re ready to jump into learning more fun wrapping techniques! This kind of “baby wrap origami” can only be done with this kind of wrap and is a fun (sometimes addictive) hobby you can enjoy while keeping your baby close and happy!

SIZING

While many moms choose to get their “base size” – the wrap length that will fit them best for full length carries – you can use shorter sizes for cooler Summer wrapping with fewer layers over you and your baby. This will make your wrap cooler than any other baby carrier (and much cooler than those stretchy cotton jersey wraps).

LESS CRYING – this wrap is a miracle for fussy, needy or colicky babies. Absolutely wrap your baby up right before the evening witching hour (commonly right around 5pm) or whenever you know your baby is prone to crying and AVOID the fuss!

MACHINE WASHABLE
Your wrap is made from cotton fabric that may be washed in the machine at 60°C (140°F). Your wrap may shrink a little after the first wash – the lengths stated refer to the lengths after washing. Girasol wraps may be ironed and occasionally – if haste is required – even dried in tumble-dried.
