The Gibson Custom Modern Mailbox in Matte Black

We took our popular Gibson LG modern mailbox and went back to the drawing board. Our goal was simple: build the Gibson LG in a rust-free material and paint it to last. We kept the proportions of the original box but changed the material to 16ga galvanized steel and fully powder-coated it in a matte black finish.

The clean lines of the mailbox will feel just right, whether your home is modern, historic, mid-century, or traditional. As with all Bold MFG ‘s products, the Gibson Painted Mailbox is 100% made in our shop in Austin, TX. Each mailbox is precisely laser cut with your house numbers and then built specifically for you.

- Non-Locking or Locking: We offer a locking option for this mailbox - the keyed lock feature allows for secure mail delivery and comes with two key copies.
- Acrylic Backplate: The house numbers are laser-cut out of the metal and can be left see-thru, or you can add a colored acrylic backplate so the numbers stand out.

This mailbox is designed to be a wall-mount mailbox, with protection from direct rain or snow.

Excellent quality. Perfect size for all my mail. Easy to install. I put a couple of small protective bumper dots on ny brick just to be sure I didn’t bang and scratch the lid, but it probably wasn’t necessary. And I installed it a little lower than my old mailbox so that I can see down in it. Love it.
