Vintage from the 1950s
Materials: Velvet, Acetate Lining

Ladies vintage 50's black velvet pillbox style hat, with a stiff wired edge.
The hat has a diamond patterned lining.
No brand tag or makers mark.

In photo # 4, you will see a copper colored mark. There is a nickel sized burn hole on that edge, and the surrounding fabric is discolored.
The outside of the hat is in great condition with minimal wear.

Hat front measures 2"
Side with the temple tabs-3"
Back-1 1/2"
Inside circumference-appx. 19 1/2"-20", but the hat will sit on to of your head and fit most people.

One could easily add netting or feathers to this hat to make it your own.
