THIS LISTING IS FOR U.S. PAPER SIZE 8.5"x11" I have a second listing in my shop just for A4 paper size. I offer two 8.5x11 design versions of this Datura Metel design, this listing is for the first option.
After forming a personal bond with this beautiful poisonous plant, I felt inspired to create printable pages you can print at home or at a print shop to use for special writings, drawings, and recordings. Created from digitally enhancing a beautiful 17th century Datura Metel drawing in front of the moon, then artistically altering and formatting through a meditative design process resulting in a mesmerizing and somewhat hypnotizing page border design. The possibilities are endless with these beautiful Datura decorative pages, some suggestions are:
✦Book of Shadows
✦Grimoire
✦Poison plant medicine journal
✦Tarot journal
✦Personal journal
✦Garden journal
✦Junk journal
✦Scrap book
✦Poetry book
✦Card
All files have a transparent background so you can print them on color paper if you wish. My favorite paper to use is parchment style paper (see images), but just plain white paper looks great too! (examples in images)
WHAT YOU WILL GET
------------------------------
You will get FOUR 300 dpi high resolution files to download with your purchase:
✦ 1 file is an unlined full 8.5x11 single page (see images) that you can print double sided if you wish.
✦ 1 file is a lined full 8.5x11 single page (see images) that you can print double sided if you wish.
✦ 2 files are prepared to be printed double sided on a standard 8.5"x11 paper then folded in half to create a 5.5" x 8" booklet. One of these two files is for a booklet with unlined pages and the second file is for a lined page booklet. (see examples in images)
If you want to create a booklet, you get to decide how many pages you would like to print and how you would like to cover it and bind it. I like to use a slightly thicker stock black paper for my covers. (see images)
The simplest binding method is using a long arm stapler down the middle fold. A slightly more involved, but still easy, binding method is to sew the book down the middle. This can be done on a machine (with fewer pages) or by hand using a saddle stitch. Here are two quick tutorials that I have found helpful and informative on how to sew bind a simple booklet.
