This small but mighty hosta is a variegated sport of the award winning Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'.
In spring, the rounded leaves of heavy substance are blue-green with a bright creamy yellow margin. By summer, the leaves transition to grey-green with a creamy white margin. Incredible substance. Lavender flowers on perfectly proportioned scapes appear in early summer.
This small hosta makes a perfect addition to troughs or other patio containers with good winter drainage. Photo of plant at maturity.

These are some of the best quality starter plants. I have ordered multiple times this year (2026). The shipping is always slow and delayed. In fact I've had to email them twice on separate shippings because I received notification that a shipping label was created, but the package never arrived nor did a tracking number. Once I asked where the package was immediately another shipping label notification was received. Finally on the second attempt I received a tracking number.
Wow! These perennials are beautiful and of high quality. The transaction was smooth, fairly priced, and offered great value. The plants arrived exactly as described and were perfectly packaged—appearing in the same condition as when they left because of the excellent packaging. Delivery timing was reasonable given the busy season. Everything went as I had hoped. Thank you!
These hosta plants are fantastic starter specimens! They arrived in excellent condition, healthy and thriving. Since I couldn't plant them right away, I temporarily placed them in a gallon zip bag—and they started growing so vigorously that they were sprouting out of the top within days! Shipping took a little longer than expected, but given the rush of spring orders, it was understandable. One of the hostas I ordered was missing from my shipment, but the seller responded immediately to my inquiry. Not only did they promptly send the missing plant, but they also included extra freebies as a kind gesture. I’m truly impressed with both the quality of the plants and the outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!
